summer camp for kids with cancer

A weekend for the entire family

Each year, the Mile of Hope provides young cancer patients and their families a fun-filled weekend at the beach. The event brings a little sunshine, joy and optimism into the lives of these special children and their families.

This year is a Pirate/Treasure Island  themed weekend hosted by Atlantis Lodge and the Hampton Inn.

Three different hospitals recommend the 35 children to attend the weekend. Families are included.

It costs about $600 per family to attend.

The weekend costs approximately $20,000. Donations are needed. This is their 29th year providing this service.

“We have so many activities that they are too busy to think about cancer...Our goal is to Entertain Kids an Have Fun!” - Ed

They need 50 volunteers to help. Need to pay your own way. If you are interested - please contact Ed.
